The Vision Optique In-Store Experience

Vision Optique was founded in 1994 by Dr. Vivek Mittal, and has operated on one principle ever since: glasses should be properly fitted, not simply sold. Today, Dr. Mittal leads the practice from A-113B, near Galleria Market, Supermart-1, DLF Phase IV, Gurugram alongside his son, Chaitanya Mittal, a certified optometrist and certified ZEISS specialist. Here is what a visit to our store involves.

Professional Fitting

Every frame we sell is fitted to your face in-store — checking how it sits on your nose bridge, whether the temple length is right for your ear position, and whether the frame width suits your face without pinching at the temples. This is the step that is impossible to replicate through an online-only purchase, and it is why a frame that looked right in a photo can feel wrong the moment you actually wear it.

Frame Adjustment

Frames shift over time — hinges loosen, nose pads flatten, temples splay. We adjust frames by hand for customers, whether the glasses were bought from us or elsewhere, so they continue to sit correctly rather than sliding down your nose or pressing at your temples.

Lens Consultation

If you wear a prescription, we talk through lens options with you directly — including our ZEISS lens range — rather than defaulting to the cheapest standard lens. Lens consultations are led by Chaitanya Mittal, our certified ZEISS specialist, and that conversation covers your prescription, your daily habits like driving or screen time, and which coatings are worth it for how you actually use your glasses.

After-Sales Support

Our relationship with a customer does not end at the sale. If a frame feels off after a few weeks of wear, or a lens needs a coating check, come back in and we will look at it.

Repairs

Loose screws, bent frames, and worn nose pads are common, ordinary wear-and-tear issues, and most can be repaired in-store without needing a full replacement.

Cleaning

Bring your glasses in any time for a proper clean and hinge check — it takes a few minutes and helps a good frame last years longer.

Prescription Assistance

If you are unsure of your current prescription, unsure whether it is time for an update, or switching from another optician, our team can talk you through what we need and how to get a current prescription sorted before choosing lenses.

Why Visiting Adds Value

None of this replaces the convenience of browsing online first — which is exactly why our full catalogue is here for you to look through before you come in. But the fitting, the adjustment, and the lens conversation are things a screen cannot do. That combination — genuine stock, honest advice, and hands-on fitting from a father-and-son team with more than three decades of optical expertise between them — is what Vision Optique has been built on since 1994. Get in touch or visit us at A-113B, near Galleria Market, Supermart-1, DLF Phase IV to see for yourself.
