Daily Contact Lenses: A Buyer's Guide

Daily disposable contact lenses are exactly what the name suggests: a fresh lens for each day of wear, discarded at the end of the day rather than cleaned and reused. They are the simplest, and for most first-time wearers, the safest way to start with contacts.

How They Work

Each lens comes in its own individually sealed, sterile pack. You open a new pair each morning, wear them through the day, then remove and discard them — no cleaning solution, no lens case, no maintenance routine required.

Why Choose Daily Over Reusable Lenses

Because each lens is fresh, there is no build-up of protein deposits or bacteria that can happen with lenses reused over one to four weeks. That makes dailies a common recommendation for people prone to dry eyes or irritation, anyone who wears contacts only occasionally, and first-time wearers who want the simplest possible routine while they get used to lenses.

What We Stock

We carry the Acuvue 1-Day Moist, a soft daily lens built with moisture-retention technology to help it stay comfortable through a full day of wear, sold in a 30-pack for a month of daily use. See it in our Contact Lenses collection.

Getting Fitted Properly

Contact lenses are not one-size-fits-all — the curve and diameter of the lens need to match your eye, and your prescription for contacts is usually different from your glasses prescription. This is why we fit every new contact lens customer in-store rather than selling lenses off the shelf without a consultation, checking comfort, fit, and how you're inserting and removing them correctly.

A Few Practical Notes

Always wash your hands before handling lenses, avoid wearing them longer than recommended, and never sleep in daily lenses unless a lens is specifically approved for extended wear. If your eyes feel irritated, red, or uncomfortable at any point, remove the lenses and get in touch with us rather than pushing through it.

Next Step

If you're new to contacts, book a fitting consultation with us in DLF Phase IV, Gurugram — we'll talk through your prescription, fit you properly, and make sure you're comfortable with insertion and removal before you leave.
